SMITH STREET STAGE STUDENT ASSISTANT PROGRAM

Each year Smith Street Stage hires a group of talented and committed students and recent graduates to participate in our Assistant Program. These Assistants become part of the Shakespeare in Carroll Park company. In the past they have served as backstage crew members, assistant stage managers, and often perform in the production alongside the Company! We look for young theater artists interested in increasing their understanding of the process of producing theater in New York City and who are excited to help us in our mission. A stipend is available for our student assistants.

Our assistant program interviews and auditions are completed for the 2017 summer season. Thank you for your interest!
